Makeup by Jovanca was one of the first artists I bookmarked when I began researching Bali wedding vendors. This is mainly because her portfolio screamed polished but natural… the kind of “you, but elevated” look.

She’s known for using international-standard techniques and high-end products, which does show in the results.

Bridesmaids and family packages are available too. I like that she offers trials and even touch-ups after the ceremony. It’s super practical when you’re running from beach vows to a late-night reception.

Her team also covers non-wedding events, including graduations and parties. And yes, they’ll travel for destination weddings in Bali.

However, you’ll need to budget accordingly. Bridal packages can range from IDR 5,000,000, which is on the higher end compared to local MUAs. Plus, her site doesn’t really spell out package options, so you’ll likely end up requesting a custom quote.

Yuka Makeup quickly stood out to me when I was browsing for Bali bridal artists. It’s mainly because she specializes in natural, Asian-inspired looks that feel soft and elegant rather than overdone.

It’s the kind of style that photographs beautifully without making you feel like someone else on your wedding day.

She usually teams up with stylist Juli for hairstyling, which makes the whole package feel seamless. Bridal makeup and hair services range between IDR 2,000,000 and IDR 4,000,000, which I feel is reasonable.

Meanwhile, bridesmaid or family looks start from IDR 600,000, which is definitely more approachable compared to some high-end MUAs.

Engagement and pre-wedding sessions are also available, making it easy to cover all events with one team.

The downside is that her focus is firmly on natural and Asian styles. If you’re after heavy contouring and a bold Western-glam look, this may not be the right fit. And come wedding season, booking her can be tough.

MUA Bali by Evijo is one of those studios that instantly feels reliable. It’s not just Evijo herself but a whole team of artists trained under her.

Their strong reputation comes from makeup that actually lasts, even through Bali’s humidity, and techniques that work across different skin types and tones.

Bridal packages range from IDR 2,500,000 to 4,500,000, which is pretty standard for a professional team. Engagements, graduations, and even family makeup are covered, starting from IDR 600,000 per person.

I like that they offer both studio and home services, which makes scheduling more flexible. It’s particularly helpful if you have a busy wedding morning.

However, I find it inconvenient that the website isn’t as transparent about pricing as it could be. I ended up requesting a custom quote at the last minute.

And when the studio takes on a high volume of clients, a few brides mentioned that the smaller team setup can feel rushed.

Her packages reflect the premium service. This includes bridal airbrush makeup and hair, priced from IDR 4,000,000 to IDR 6,000,000. Trial sessions range from IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 2,500,000.

Bridesmaids and mothers can book looks starting at IDR 1,000,000. Anja Buerck also offers on-site styling, which is a huge plus for destination weddings.

The only catch is that Anja’s rates are noticeably higher than many Bali-based MUAs. Her services are primarily focused on bridal work, rather than casual parties or corporate events.

Plus, with a smaller team, accommodating larger groups can be challenging.
