The Rockfish at The Uluwatu is a lovely venue perched atop a cliff, offering panoramic ocean views. Located in Uluwatu, it’s an accessible venue that can also showcase the beauty of the beaches around it, like Warung Bikini Bottom.
The venue itself is breathtaking, accommodating up to 100 guests, with many of its elements seamlessly integrated into the cliffside.
I really like the ornate pillars carved from the same stone as the cliff, scattered across the venue. Plus the dim lighting? It really creates a more intimate experience.
I also appreciate the food at the Rockfish. Many of its dishes are handcrafted by Andrey Legkiy, a renowned chef who has worked in NOBU and GINZA. Selected from the best seafood on the island, the culinary experience at the Rockfish showcases what Bali can truly offer.
Just note that while these offers are great, parking is quite limited. Guests will have to look for parking elsewhere, which is disappointing.

Truly a hidden gem
“Rockfish at Uluwatu is truly a hidden gem. Getting there from the main road, you almost feel like you’re heading the wrong way — as if you’re driving toward a private home tucked away in the jungle. But trust the road, because what awaits you is an absolutely incredible culinary experience.
The path leading to the restaurant is amazing on its own, with a beautiful bamboo archway that sets the tone before you even arrive. Once inside, the cave-like design of the restaurant completely took my breath away. The décor, atmosphere, and views were far beyond what I was expecting.
It was raining the day we visited, but honestly, watching the rain roll in from the ocean added to the experience. I can only imagine how stunning this place must be on a clear evening — but even in the rain, it was unforgettable.
For dinner, I ordered the 7+ Wagyu Picanha with wood-fired asparagus, cooked perfectly to the medium I requested. It was outstanding. My girlfriend had the chargrilled chicken Maryland with mashed potatoes, and she couldn’t stop raving about how good her meal was.
If you’re visiting Bali from the States, this is an absolute must for dinner. Rockfish is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience, and one you should not miss while in Uluwatu.”

Perched on a cliff-top, Wonderland Uluwatu is a lovely venue that combines aesthetics and comfort. There are three unique spaces here, each with its own bespoke offerings that set them apart.
The best venues are The Point and The Joglo. Both offer great views of the Indian Ocean. While The Point is an open area, The Joglo offers wonderful shade for guests and the lovely couple.
I like that their packages include a dinner reception, which saves the hassle of looking for a separate one. Additionally, there are suites for the bride and her bridesmaids, which is a nice touch.
Each venue can hold 60 to 300, depending on which one you choose. There’s also Wi-Fi, and they offer in-house food vendors.
However, the area is known for heavy traffic, so make sure to leave early to avoid missing your booking.

3. Tirtha Bali

Located in Uluwatu, Tirtha Bali has two wedding venues that combine Bali’s distinct beauty with Japanese elegance. Established in 2003, this beautiful venue was the brainchild of Koji and Yuka Koreyasu and has been beloved ever since.
There are two venues in Tirtha, but I prefer Tirtha Uluwatu, which is the larger one and indoor, perfect for larger weddings. It’s 6,300 sqm, houses 3 ceremonial spots, and 6 reception areas. My favourites of these are the Glass Stage for the ceremonial spot and Heaven for the reception.
As for wedding packages, they have several to choose from. I found that the Celeste is perfect for smaller, intimate weddings. Meanwhile, the Catholic Wedding package can accommodate around 700 guests.
These come with food and reception venues that are inspired by Japanese or French cuisine.
However, it can be difficult to leave in the evenings, as the surrounding roads are remote and lack streetlights.

Villa Latitude Bali is perfect for those seeking a small yet luxurious wedding venue. With over 4,400 sqm, the venue features a 6-bedroom suite that accommodates 12 guests. For larger weddings, I wouldn’t recommend them.
I love this venue for its many amenities. From an entertainment pavilion that houses a huge lounge area to the fully equipped kitchen, it’s simply an astounding place to have a wedding.
The venue itself can house 150 guests, while still offering intimate experiences through other amenities after the wedding. There’s a personal chef and a butler service at all times, as well as uniformed security.
Additionally, there are often special offers at this venue, such as offering an additional night when booking 8 consecutive nights. They also accept last-minute bookings up to 1 day earlier or later.
I had the most wonderful wedding experience
“I had my destination wedding here. With the help of the planner and this amazing location, I had the most wonderful wedding experience.
This venue’s view is absolutely stunning. Imagine adding fireworks at night. Our wedding had about 80 guests and this place was more than large enough to accommodate them all.
There are also service staff 24 hours in the villa to help you with all your needs. Not free though, laundry and food and transport have to pay. Around 200k rupiah average for each item. But the staff are super helpful, like to clean up and pack up stuff.
Another thing to note is that the villa is really big but only has 6 rooms spaced somewhat far apart. So it doesn’t fit the cost villa experience if you’re thinking about one.
Most of our guests stay in other villas and hotels nearby and had to get a car in. The roads are not the easiest to navigate. Still possible to get a car/Gojek at 1am in the morning.
Overall, really really love the villa and the experience I had in there. Would highly recommend anyone holding a destination wedding there.”

Villa Vedas Bali is a luxurious venue that combines breathtaking architecture with unobstructed ocean views. Built with sliding Hafele glass, the entire venue is customizable to the client’s liking, offering a bespoke experience each time.
The villa has a master and bridal suite, as well as several king suites and pavilions for other guests. I personally adore the outside venue, as it has a breathtaking view of the ocean.
The guest limit is a bit restrictive, allowing only about 16 guests. But I love that this is perfect for smaller and more intimate weddings. Additionally, the amenities and inclusions are more than enough of a benefit.
Food and drink are included in the packages, along with a DJ sound system and a wedding cake. Brides don’t even have to worry because they have a bridal styling team at the ready.

“Incredible venue for a wedding, the villa was stunning and the staff were friendly and very efficient. I stayed here for two nights for my brother’s wedding and it was spectacular. My son was sick and the villa staff made a call immediately to a doctor and arranged for the doctor to be at the villa within 1.5hrs which was so helpful. The staff really take care of you. Definitely recommend!”
