The 5 Best Happy Hour Spots in Bali That’ll Turn Your Stress Into Spritzes
After a tough work week, sometimes ice cream just won’t cut it. We needed something more fun and stronger—yet not something that would hurt our wallets, either.
But since my buddies and I didn’t have a plan at first, we ended up hopping from one restaurant to another for sunset drinks. Unfortunately, most of these places were more crowded than expected, and not all of them even had promos.
So the next time we were out, we made sure we were ready. We took our time looking for different happy hour deals in Bali, comparing cocktails and dishes until we had a reliable list.

1. The Goat

The Goat stands out as a top happy hour spot with their lively pub vibe, huge food portions, and award-winning sports bar setup.
This bar has a fun, high-energy theme around “The Greatest Of All Times.” They even won Best Sports Bar in Bali 2026 from Star Iconic and Most Trusted Sports Bar from Indonesian Award Magazine.
And when you are here, the staff offers cheap beer buckets, live music, and 17 screens for sports—we think this truly sets them apart from quieter cafes.
As for the promos during 5 to 7 pm, they charge over IDR 50,000 for 5 Bintang beers. You can also order food starting at IDR 49,000 (including garlic bread). Just be sure to order by 6:30 pm.
These rates match the Seminyak pub standard too. Though they don’t have the cheapest eats, we think you still get great value from the size of the deals.
Conveniently, you can visit here almost whenever you’re hungry: during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night bites. And for extra entertainment, we like the amusement games and events like cocktail masterclasses.
Do remember to bring cash as well, as the crew sometimes pushes this to skip card fees.

Double-Six Rooftop shines as a happy hour spot with its massive 1,700 sqm space, epic 180-degree ocean sunsets, and floating pods for private lounging.
They provide 2-for-1 cocktails during golden hour, as well as gourmet bites in a chic and breezy vibe, which we reckon some smaller bars can’t match.
For the happy hour around 5 to 7 pm, they charge around IDR 150,000 for 2. Shared salads also start at IDR 110,000, while 2 desserts or snacks begin at IDR 170,000.
These prices are higher than casual pubs, but we believe they’re pretty standard for luxury Seminyak rooftops.
We’re amazed that this rooftop bar even has an infinity pond daybed, a massive LED DJ stage, and beach panoramas to maximize the fun.
But unlike some, they enforce a strict smart casual dress code that excludes beachwear. It’s best to follow this, or you’ll run into security issues.

It was all more than worth it
“We had a great experience at the rooftop bar. On the internet it was not possible anymore to make a reservation for a table, but when arriving at the entrance there were enough tables free, luckily for us. We enjoyed our cocktails for happy hour and the dinner afterwards was really good. The wagyu tasted great and so was the lamb kofta. In the evening we could watch the firework from the beach and there was a live DJ making the music. We had a table without minimum spend, but all in all had to pay almost 1 Million but it was all more than worth it. Will definitely come back and suggest this place to you all. Go here!”

What makes The Forge stand out for us is its 24/7 operation, which showcases great accessibility to all types of diners.
They offer daily themed happy hours from 11 am to 7 pm. A notable example is their Wing Wednesday, with hearty pub portions.
During these hours, you can taste world-class gastro-pub eats like fire-roasted pizzas and stews since around 2018. They really focus on home-cooked comfort in a rustic, leafy terrace setting.
Steak & Wine Mondays will set you back around IDR 299,000 for a 250g steak, sides, and wine. Meanwhile, the TGIF burger and beer cost around IDR 199,000, and cocktails with a 2-for-1 discount cost around IDR 200,000.
Though they’re not the cheapest, these rates are pretty standard for Seminyak gastropubs. We think they’re quite reasonable too, given the perpetual happy hour setup.
Another thing we find helpful is that they don’t need reservations for these deals. But of course, that can be a double-edged sword. No bookings can mean early arrival of crowds—it can get pretty rowdy with all the night owls or sports fans here.

Friends Bar delivers a chill beachside happy hour from 5 pm to 7 pm with 2-for-1 cocktails in a trendy, social vibe. We believe they’re ideal for groups wanting relaxed sunset drinks rather than intense sports bars.
They’ve been among Canggu’s easygoing hangout places since 2010. If you’re a fan of the TV show “Friends,” we bet you’ll love their plush couches, warm wooden accents, and colorful neon signs that mimic its famous, cozy living room.
Their rates range from IDR 80,000 to IDR 100,000 for regular mojitos or margaritas, IDR 40,000 for beers, and IDR 70,000 for snacks like nachos.
These align with standard Canggu beach bar fees, and we like that they’re quite budget-friendly vs. Seminyak luxury bars.
The only drawback for us is their limited food selection, since you’ll likely get snacks over full meals. For us, it’s smart to check the menu beforehand.

The Barn is all about classic British pub comfort in Canggu. They offer daily happy hour deals from 4 pm to 6 pm (all day Fridays) on cheap beers and cocktails.
Not only that, but they also provide legendary Sunday roasts that draw crowds—heartier than light beach bites.
Crowd favorites are the pies, fish and chips, but we’re in awe that they also serve many other options, like burgers, bangers (British pork sausages), mash, and salads. Still, a diner we spoke with would’ve preferred it if they had vegan mains too.
You’ll spend about IDR 50,000 to IDR 70,000 on beers and cocktails, or IDR 120,000 to IDR 180,000 on pizzas and burgers. Compared to other Canggu gastropubs, these rates are pretty standard.
Regulars we talked to also say the pub classics taste great, with live sports, music, and bar games for constant entertainment.
Nonetheless, note that this place can get brutally hot indoors. The fans can feel weak at times, so we recommend seeking AC coolness near the pool table.
