5 Best Bali Office Spaces That Boost Productivity for Freelancers & Startups

Location and accessibility: I focused on office spaces in popular business hubs like Canggu, Seminyak, and Ubud. These should be easily reachable and close to cafés, restaurants, and coworking-friendly spots.

Amenities and Facilities: I chose spaces with essential amenities like high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and quiet zones to ensure a productive workspace.

Community and Networking Opportunities: I prioritized spaces that foster collaboration, learning, and networking. This ensures all workers have a great yet productive stay.

Flexibility and Membership Options: I chose spaces offering hot desks or team rooms so freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small companies can pick what fits their needs.

Pricing and Value: Transparent pricing and value for money were key. That’s why I chose spaces that combine affordability with high-quality facilities.

Bali has become a hotspot for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and teams. Honestly, working from a villa or café sounds ideal. But without a proper workspace, distractions, slow internet, and a lack of structure can quickly derail your productivity.

That’s where dedicated office spaces come in. They provide the stability and tools you need to focus. Some spaces even host events or wellness activities. This gives you a chance to connect with other workers while keeping your work on track.

With that in mind, whether you’re a solo freelancer looking for a productive spot or a startup team needing flexible space options, the right office spaces in Bali can make all the difference.

How much do office spaces cost in Bali?

Office spaces in Bali generally cost around IDR 3,000,000 to IDR 10,000,000 per month for a dedicated desk or private office. This depends on location, amenities, and community features.

The Space Bali offers more than a typical office setup. It provides flexible shared and private office spaces, virtual offices, and even a warehouse. This makes it ideal for freelancers, startups, and growing businesses.

The amenities cover all essentials: high-speed WiFi, air-conditioning, and office furniture. They also have utilities and stylish interior décor. Reception services, call answering, and mail forwarding are also included.

Plus, office spaces start at IDR 7,600,000/month plus 11% tax, which is moderately priced given the services and locations in Denpasar. Each site is easily accessible, with nearby amenities like cafés, gyms, and transport links.

On-site café and restaurant packages start at IDR 250,000 per person and include a free 2-hour meeting room. It’s affordable and perfect for team sessions or client meetings.

The only drawback is the lack of on-site IT support, which some businesses may need for technical issues or network maintenance.

Pros

  • Flexible office, virtual office, and warehouse options
  • Complete amenities and business support services
  • Accessible location
  • Meeting packages with café/restaurant perks
  • Fair pricing

Cons

  • No on-site IT support

The place is clean and comfortable

“The place is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly, the location is very strategic, if you want to have coffee while meeting with clients, it’s really great.”

Employees are super welcoming and nice

“Very chill cafe, restaurant and a working space. Stopped here to plan the rest of our day. Employees are super welcoming and nice!”

GoWork feels like a business-first workspace designed for professionals who want efficiency and consistency. With its reputation as one of Indonesia’s largest coworking networks, it’s clear that they focus on delivering a reliable and structured work environment.

What stood out to me was the convenience. Amenities like high-speed internet, ergonomic chairs, and business support services make daily work seamless. Free refreshments are also available.

GoWork offers a range of options, from private offices and dedicated desks to virtual offices and on-the-go access. So it’s easy to find something that fits your setup.

I also like how accessible their network is. They have 25 locations across Jakarta, Bali, Tangerang, and more. This means teams can move between spaces while maintaining a consistent work experience.

The only drawback is the lack of transparent pricing. While they list plans and packages, actual costs aren’t readily available. This can make it harder to assess overall value upfront.

Pros

  • Large coworking network across multiple cities
  • Professional, well-equipped workspaces
  • Wide range of flexible workspace options
  • Consistent experience across locations

Cons

  • Lack of pricing transparency

It’s a very good space for work-from-anywhere folks

“The place is clean, comfortable and offers different seating choices, whether you wish to brainstorm with others sitting on couches around low tables, or work on your laptop on a shared large table, or rent a dedicated meeting/office room. There is an outside area (should you find the AC too cold :)), also coffee, tea and water on self-service. Their rates are very reasonable, surprisingly low in fact, considering the building and area where they are located. As an independent worker, I sometimes need a private office for 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the night for online meetings with clients on the other side of the world, so I would have liked it if 24-hour access was possible, maybe with a pre-booking system and personal entrance code so that they don’t need to have reception staff on standby 24 hours. Their opening hours are standard Indonesian office hours however, which means my particular requirements cannot be met, but otherwise it’s a very good space for work-from-anywhere folks.”

An ideal environment for productivity

“Nice coworking in Kuta area! The atmosphere is both nice and comfy, making it an ideal environment for productivity. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. It’s clear that they genuinely care about creating a positive experience for their members. Overall, I highly recommend this coworking space to anyone in search of a productive and friendly work environment.”

Biliq stands out for its thoughtfully designed space that makes you want to stay longer, not just work and leave. It’s no surprise they’ve been recognized with awards like Best Coworking Space (Member’s Choice Awards) and even hold Airbnb Superhost status.

The essentials are also well covered. These include ergonomic desks and chairs, air conditioning, and 24-hour access with a lockable door.

Office spaces start at IDR 5,000,000 per month, which is relatively affordable considering the comfort and flexibility offered.

Beyond work, there’s also an in-house café serving good coffee and meals. This creates a more balanced day-to-day experience.

I personally like the community aspect. As part of a coliving setup, it naturally encouraged connections, making it a great option for remote workers who don’t want to feel isolated.

The only downside is that it can be difficult to secure a spot due to high demand. This is especially hard during peak seasons when the space gets fully booked quickly.

Pros

  • Award-winning and highly rated
  • Affordable pricing given
  • 24/7 access with amenities
  • Strong community and coliving vibe

Cons

  • Limited schedule availability

A comfortable place to work with a laptop

“Nice experience at the Biliq Sunset Road co-working space.

I needed a comfortable place to work after checking out of the hotel in the afternoon and before my evening flight. The customer service was very friendly, kind, and responsive.

When I arrived, everyone seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort, from the security guard to the receptionist, and the rest of the staff.

A comfortable place to work with a laptop, with comfortable chairs and a quiet atmosphere.

I’ll come back here or try the Seminyak location if I need to work in Bali again. Thanks!”

Gorgeous little co-working space

“Gorgeous little co-working space, really well located just off Sunset Road.

The staff here are so friendly, I was always arriving with 3 minutes to spare for a meeting and they would have me setup with a spare screen and ready to go in no time. They also were happy to let me have my son with me some days and were very accomodating with some extra wifi for him at no cost.

The meals are really delish, a good mix of indo and smoothies etc, really quick and fresh and great pricing.

Sad to be leaving! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Bali :)”

PUCO Rooftop in Canggu is a locally owned coworking space designed for freelancers and remote workers who want a balanced and inspiring area.

The space includes an eatery, PUCOliving, and coworking places. It’s also pet-friendly, so long as your pet is quiet, well-behaved, and supervised.

Another feat? There’s no need to reserve a spot. Just come in and grab a seat at the communal table.

PUCO posts available working hours, but for those who purchase a coworking package, 24/7 access is available. This makes it easier to work on flexible schedules or meet tight deadlines.

The only downside is that the quiet coworking areas are only available to customers who purchased a coworking package. So getting a private, peaceful spot isn’t always possible for casual drop-ins.

But I really appreciate that the company runs charity drives for SDN 6 Bunutan Elementary School. Here, they ask for donations of books, shoes, or bags for kids in need.

Pros

  • Pet-friendly
  • No reservations needed
  • Allows 24/7 access
  • Hosts weekly charity events

Cons

  • Quiet areas are only for purchasing clients

I’m super happy with this place and recommend it 100%

“Puco Coworking in Canggu is an amazing place to work and connect. The space is comfortable, calm, and perfect for staying focused and productive. The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices, and the matcha is a solid 10/10 honestly one of the best in Canggu. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; they really make you feel at home. I have absolutely no complaints. I’m super happy with this place and recommend it 100%.”

The environment is calm, clean, and well-designed

“Poco Bali is a great place that successfully combines a comfortable co-working space with a cozy eatery atmosphere. The environment is calm, clean, and well-designed, making it ideal for both working and relaxing

The food and drinks are well prepared and reasonably priced, making it convenient to stay for several hours without needing to leave the space. The menu offers a nice variety, suitable for casual meals or light snacks while working”
