The 5 Best Cat Boarding Services in Bali That’ll Win Over Your Fussy Feline
Recently, my friend adopted a cute and tiny Balinese kitten. The thing is, she quickly realized that she couldn’t leave it for our weekend trip without worrying.
She tried asking her neighbor to be a pet sitter, but the poor kitty hid the whole time. And though she surrounded her pet with its favorite treats, that didn’t give it enough distraction from feeling like it would be abandoned.
Desperate, she wanted to find the best cat boarding services in Bali instead. I helped her compile a list of reliable options that provide cozy spaces and professional care. So if your cat also gets anxious whenever you leave, it’s smart to check our top picks.
How much do cat boarding services cost in Bali?
Cat boarding services in Bali typically cost between IDR 60,000 and IDR 110,000 per night. This depends on the number of cats, accommodation type, duration of stay, food and supplies, peak season surcharges, and add-on services.
1. The Odd Cat

Address: Banjar Kulikul Kangin, Jl. Raya Padonan
Contact Details:

Business Hours:
- Daily: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Odd Cat is a cat-focused sanctuary and boarding spot in Canggu with a cafe. They were founded in 2016 by Julie, a cat lover tackling Bali’s street cat issues.
This spot also combines boarding with rescue efforts, which we believe sets them apart from basic kennels.
Plus, they offer 3 room types for comfy stays. The standard costs IDR 60,000 per day (1 cat max), the deluxe costs IDR 78,000 per day (2 family cats max), and the luxury walk-in with a private natural garden costs IDR 148,000 per day (3 family cats max).
Just note that there’s an extra fee of IDR 30,000 per day, if you add another kitty to share the same room.
Still, these prices are lower compared to others. And unlike standard kennels, we love that their profits directly fund their rescue mission. Amazingly, this has rehomed over 400 cats to date.
But do keep in mind that food is typically not included in these rates to ensure cats maintain their usual diet. They don’t have air-conditioning either. Their outdoor-style space uses fans, which we feel can be a concern for owners of long-haired breeds or cats sensitive to Bali’s heat.
They took wonderful care of our cat
“We boarded our cat, Tiger, at Odd Cat Boarding – it was like a cat hotel with individual rooms and access to an outdoor area. They took wonderful care of Tiger, who we originally adopted from Odd Cat. It seemed only right to try their boarding for our first trip away, and we’re so glad we did – we’ll definitely use them again. Julie has also given us so much help and support, especially when Tiger was sick. Thanks to her support, Tiger pulled through and is now living her best life.”

Very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for all the cats
“I used their cat boarding service for 6 days, because I had to leave the country for a visa run. I was a bit nervous because my kitten was quite stressed in the beginning. But the staff is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for all the cats there. They gave me lots of updates and videos while I was gone, which gave me peace of mind because I knew my cat is in good hands. I also enjoyed hearing some of the stories of the cats and kittens up for adoption – they know all of them very well and make sure that the individual needs of every cat are met. I can highly recommend The Odd Cat and would use their service again. Thank you again for taking care of my little man ♥️✌🏻”

Business Hours:

Canggu Cat Center serves as a one-stop cat care spot in Canggu. They’re quite flexible, as they focus on hotel stays, grooming, and personalized care for kitty owners. And if you lack some pet essentials, they have a supply shop too.
Moreover, we appreciate that they provide tailored care based on each pet’s personality and condition. For us, this is a step up compared to generic cage setups from others.
Their temperature-controlled facility and 24/7 monitoring are also impressive, which we bet gives many owners peace of mind.
If you want to board your pet here, they’ll charge you around IDR 85,000 per cat per night. This already includes individual AC rooms, daily cleaning, mineral drinking water, and constant CCTV supervision—except for cat food to avoid sudden dietary changes.
But don’t forget that they maintain a strict “no visit without reservation” policy to keep a quiet environment. We think this can be a hassle for last-minute walk-ins.
They were super communicative the whole time
“I’m really happy with experience with Canggu Cat Center. You can tell they really care about their furry guests. I boarded my 9 year old cat there, and they were super communicative the whole time. They sent me photos and updates everyday. Would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to board their cat 😊”

They made my cat feel like part of their family
“I left my cat, Charlie at Canggu Cat Center for 2 months — it was my first time boarding her as a new cat mom, and it was truly the best experience. They made my cat feel like part of their family. It was so reassuring to see that the owners genuinely love cats, which gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. She made friends and was sweet to everyone there. I highly recommend Canggu Cat Center, and without a doubt, I’ll leave her with them again whenever I’m away.”

3. Bali Cat Hotel

Business Hours:
- Open 24 hours
Bali Cat Hotel provides basic cat boarding and sitting in Northern Denpasar. It’s very practical for us that their team targets local owners needing reliable short-term care.
And besides their two main services, we find it helpful that they offer pet transport. This service is for drop-offs and pick-ups, great for owners without private vehicles. In our view, this differentiates them from other walk-in-only spots.
While exact daily rates are often shared once you reach them via WhatsApp, their costs typically go from IDR 75,000 to IDR 110,000 per night. Compared to other Canggu-based boutiques, these costs are still within mid-range.
However, their staff operates mainly by appointment. Not only that, but they also only accept vaccinated cats (proof of rabies and FVR-CP is usually required). So if you’re interested, our advice is to plan your pet boarding well in advance.
The owner loves cats and is so dedicated to them
“Amazing Cat Hotel at Bali where all cat lovers should all trust the good-heartedness of the owners. She love cats and is so dedicated for them. Also she belongs to a community that has such a profession for cats as well.”

4. Cozy Cat Boarding Bali

Address: Jl. Ken Arok Perumahan Sabda Alam No.3, Ubung Kaja, Kec. Denpasar Utara, Kota Denpasar
Contact Details:

Business Hours:
- Daily: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Launched around 2024, Cozy Cat Boarding Bali offers cage-free cat stays in a modern and quiet Denpasar home setup.
Unlike stacked cages at most Bali spots, they basically let the animals roam freely. In our view, this is better for certain breeds or personalities, especially the more extroverted or active pets.
One more thing that looks handy for us is that the owner is fluent in English and Chinese. A client we talked to mentioned that this makes them a popular choice for the expat community.
When it comes to quotes, they primarily respond via WhatsApp to account for duration and special needs. But for a good estimate, their no-cage boarding typically ranges from IDR 75,000 to IDR 120,000 per night.
Yet, a drawback for us is that they might not suit aggressive or highly territorial cats. We believe their home-stay with roaming kitties would only work if everyone’s friendly or relaxed.
And as this boarding spot prioritizes its cozy atmosphere, note that its team strictly limits the number of guests to avoid overcrowding.
Our cat was there in good shape, physically and mentally
“We trusted our cat in Rheza‘s hand. He was there in a good shape physically and mentally😄 he had a lot of space to play and chill, get some sun and the look of the outside too. Rheza made sure to keep him company and busy with the play time. Attentive care. We wouldn’t hesitate to have him looking after our baby again in the future👍🏽”

5. Pet Sitter Bali for Cats

Address: Blok B no. 11, Jl. Campuhan Selatan I, Pering, Kec. Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar
Contact Details:

Business Hours:

- Wed: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Pet Sitter Bali for Cats is a dedicated feline boarding facility in Gianyar. They function as the cat-exclusive branch of the well-known Pet Sitter Bali, which handles dogs at their original location in Ubud.
We like that their facility is known for its free indoor concept, emphasizing a home-like environment rather than traditional caging.
It’s great for us that their facility seems secure too. Their spot is fully fenced and double-gated, featuring both indoor roaming areas and garden access.
Their boarding rates are also quite simple, as they’re tiered based on the number of cats sharing a space. Boarding 1 cat costs IDR 110,000 per night, 2 costs IDR 90,000 each per night, and so on.
Still, these rates are on the higher end for single cat boarding compared to other dedicated cat facilities in Bali.
Another thing we feel could be a concern is their separate branches. Cats and dogs are kept at entirely different villages, so we reckon multi-pet owners might find it inconvenient to drop off both animals at once.
