Host Unforgettable Events at the 5 Best Banquet Halls in Bali

Venue Ambience and Design: I focused on banquet halls with visually stunning interiors or scenic surroundings that can elevate any event.

Capacity and Flexibility: I looked for venues that can accommodate both intimate gatherings and large celebrations comfortably.

Service and Event Support: I prioritized places offering event coordination, catering, and on-site staff for a seamless experience.

Location: I included venues in popular Bali areas that are easy for guests to reach.

Reputation and Feedback: I included places that have feedback highlighting professionalism, smooth execution, and overall event satisfaction.

When a friend was planning a wedding, I actually thought it would be easy to find a venue. But, unfortunately, everything became overwhelming. We had to figure out which ones truly delivered on both ambiance and services.

That’s when I started exploring event spaces more seriously. It completely changed my perspective. I learned that some places were popular for full-service event planning, while others stand out mainly for their stunning views.

If you’re on the same boat as I was, I assure you, there are incredible places that can turn any gathering into something memorable. To make things easier, here are the best banquet halls in Bali you should consider.

How much do banquet hall rentals in Bali cost?

Banquet hall rentals in Bali typically range from IDR 10,000,000 to IDR 100,000,000+, depending on the location, guest capacity, and inclusions. Premium venues with catering, decorations, and event coordination packages may cost more.

Tirtha is one of those venues that immediately feels elegant the moment you walk in.

Located in Uluwatu, they actually offer two distinct spaces: Tirtha Uluwatu and The Glass House. Both are designed with a refined Japanese-inspired aesthetic.

They’ve been around since 2003. So, with over two decades of experience, it’s clear they know how to handle all kinds of celebrations. The property itself is a massive 6,300 sqm. This gives plenty of room for any event.

What I like is how streamlined their packages are. You can choose your reception venue, pick between a 4-course French or Japanese menu, and they even have a dedicated wedding planner for you.

Tirtha also hosts religious ceremonies and offers after-parties at The Glass House’s party room. It feels very all-in-one and well-organized.

However, despite allowing religious ceremonies, Tirtha does not accommodate Catholic weddings. This may be a dealbreaker for some couples.

Pros

  • Elegant, Japanese-inspired venues
  • Has over 20 years of experience
  • Includes a wedding planner in packages
  • Caters to some religious ceremonies

Cons

  • Does not accommodate Catholic weddings

Everybody at Tirtha was absolutely top-notch professional

What a wonderful wedding venue!  The facility was beautiful and the staff was amazing.  We are from California and did all our planning virtually with Andre, our wedding planner from Tirtha.

Tirtha is a true one stop shop that provided everything from photography, video, makeup, full attendance of the bride, flowers, food (which was very good), food carts, flower girls etc. Everything to make your wedding perfect is provided by Tirtha in their packaged deals.  I got the Eve package, with a 230pm ceremony at the chapel at Tirtha overlooking the Indian Ocean from a cliff.  It has a 530pm reception at the Glass House, a venue about 10 mins drive into the forest.  We also added a Tea Ceremony at 4pm.  All the facilities were glorious and the food and service was absolutely amazing.  Everybody at Tirtha was absolutely top notch professional and the beauty of the buildings with the forest and ocean backdrops are simply stunning.  I cannot begin to list all the things Tirtha and Andre did to make my wife and my experience amazing.  They handle literally everything and think of everything. It was a stress free experience.

I strongly recommend Tirtha for a dream wedding come true!  Thanks Tirtha and thanks to Andre for a flawless and perfect wedding!”

Staff were all accommodating

“Came for a site visit & the hospitality was amazing!! Welcome drinks while waiting for our site inspection to start, schedule of what we were doing, fast responses through email, staff were all accommodating, views were extraordinary!! We chose Tirtha Bali for our wedding venue for our wedding next year!! 😄 Not many other venues that I visited were as accommodating as they are!! If you’re planning on doing your wedding in Bali, I highly recommend Tirtha Bali and getting in touch with Meirin!! ☺️”

The Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) is a go-to choice if you’re planning something large-scale and highly organized.

For over 20 years, it has built a reputation as one of Bali’s premier event venues. And being managed by The Westin Resort Nusa Dua definitely adds that polished and professional aspect.

They have hosted multiple events: major conferences, summits, and large celebrations. So, they’re clearly equipped for high-profile events. The facilities are modern, and the level of service is consistently praised.

I also like that they’re involved in sustainability efforts through programs like “Good Travel” by Marriott Bonvoy. Here, guests can participate in activities like beach clean-ups and coral painting.

On top of that, they work with Scholars of Sustenance to reduce food waste. They donate surplus meals to those in need.

BICC has also received awards like Indonesia’s Best Convention Centre in 2024, which reinforces its credibility.

The main drawback is parking spaces. It can be quite limited, especially during big events.

Pros

  • Managed by The Westin Resort Nusa Dua
  • Has sustainability and community programs
  • Award-winning convention centre

Cons

  • Limited parking spaces

The interior felt luxurious and spacious

The hall is easy to access but hard when there’s an event or traffic due to it having somewhat small roads. The lobby of the hall is great and spacious since it has the feel of luxury that it wants to show to tourists and visitors to prove that Indonesia can be luxurious. I came here for the SEAMO X competition and the place was great since it has clear rooms and the interior felt luxurious and spacious.”

Rooms and facilities are well-maintained

“Rooms and facilities are well-maintained, convenient, follow international standard.

Usually used for international events. Small meeting and conference rooms are available. Big and middle size rooms too.

Access are better with taxi. I don’t recommend public transportation and online transportation such as grab or Uber”

Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) is the kind of venue you look at when you need serious capacity and flexibility.

It can host up to 10,000 guests, which already says a lot about the scale of events they handle. What I find impressive is how adaptable the space is. It can be configured for different types of events, from conferences to large banquets.

They also have strong technical support. BNDCC has integrated IT systems, high-speed connectivity, and even an on-site bonded warehouse. This is especially useful for international events.

In terms of convenience, they offer in-house catering, medical rooms for emergencies, and full accessibility features for guests with disabilities. It feels very well thought out from an operations standpoint.

The venue is also involved in environmental efforts like coral reef and mangrove planting, which is a nice touch.

One thing to keep in mind is that while the event spaces are excellent, some guests feel that their hotel accommodations are starting to feel outdated. Rooms look old, and some amenities don’t work as intended.

Pros

  • Strong technical and IT support
  • On-site catering available
  • Has medical facilities on standby
  • Environmental sustainability efforts

Cons

  • Outdated hotel

A great venue for large-scale events

A great venue for large-scale events. No wonder many international events are held here. The BNDCC team was also very friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious and varied. I appreciate the food served and the hospitality of the team at the restaurant.”

The venue is world-class

We had the privilege of attending the International Leprosy Congress 2025 at the Nusa Dua Convention Centre, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The venue is world-class—immaculately maintained, spacious, and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that supported a smooth and professional event from start to finish.

The layout of the centre is well-organized, making it easy to navigate between sessions, exhibition areas, and networking spaces. The audio-visual setup was flawless, ensuring that presentations and panel discussions ran without a hitch. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, consistently attentive to the needs of both delegates and organizers.

Additionally, the location is simply breathtaking—just a short walk to pristine beaches and surrounded by high-quality accommodations and dining options, making it an ideal destination for international delegates.

We highly recommend the Nusa Dua Convention Centre for any global conference or high-level event. It provides not just a venue, but an experience of professionalism, hospitality, and beauty.”

Puri Temple Hill has a very different feel compared to traditional banquet halls. It’s more of a scenic, destination-style venue.

Located in Jimbaran, it sits on a 1.6-acre private property overlooking limestone hills. This makes it an ideal wedding venue for some. The setting alone already does a lot of work in creating a memorable atmosphere.

What I like most is the flexibility. You can choose between indoor and outdoor spaces. They also allow for personalized activities spread across multiple days. Puri Temple is ideal for destination events.

The venue’s catering is handled by Opia Bali, a popular catering company. Their chefs create custom menus using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

They also have a fully stocked bar. It offers everything from wine and champagne to custom cocktails. They’re even willing to include personalized “his and hers” drinks.

The only downside? Since it’s a sought-after place, slots tend to fill up quickly. So you’ll need to book well in advance.

Pros

  • Flexible indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Catering is by a popular catering company
  • Fully stocked bar with personalized drinks

Cons

  • Limited slots due to high demand

All the spaces in the venue are breathtakingly beautiful

We recently had our wedding at Puri Temple Hill and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! All the spaces in the venue are breathtakingly beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire team there was exceptional. Their planner, Natasja, was fantastic at coordinating everything leading up to the event and made sure everything ran perfectly on the day of our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and highly highly recommend them for any special event!”

This place is phenomenal

“Wow. This place is phenomenal. My wife and I decided to get married here, and it was the best decision we ever made. The team at Puri Temple Hill cannot be faulted. Nothing was an issue, they bent over backwards to forfill all of our needs and wants, and would respond in an instant to any question we had. The wedding day itself went seamlessly. Natasja was there the entire time to make sure we had nothing to worry about. The food, cocktails, DJ, decor, and venue was perfect. If you are coming to Bali to get married, do it at Puri Temple Hill. It’s a hidden gem, and no other venue will come close to this one.”

Taman Bhagawan is a favorite among my colleagues thanks to its culture, history, and flexibility.

The place itself has an interesting backstory tied to Balinese legends. This adds a unique background to the experience.

It’s also a member of the Bali Wedding Association, which gives most clients confidence that Taman Bhagawan knows what they’re doing.

In terms of logistics, they’re also well-prepared. There’s space for around 100 cars or 30 coaches. It also has multiple access points to help manage traffic smoothly. Guests often praise them for convenience, even during big events.

Catering here is in-house and handled by Vivre, a well-known company. Everything is covered by them, from designs to personalized menus.

Taman has also worked with major clients like Citi, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft, among many others. This highlights their ability to handle and be trusted with events of all sizes.

The main issue mentioned is security. Some guests reported difficulty accessing the venue when visiting for ocular inspections.

Pros

  • Culturally rich venue with historical importance
  • Good parking and access logistics
  • In-house catering by Vivre
  • Trusted by major corporate clients

Cons

  • Reported issues with security during site visits

A super wide place with so much sunshine allowed

My goodness, that happy and all giddy feeling inside when you enter a super wide place with so much sunshine allowed, green grass, a wide open crystal clear sky and a beach at the end of your sight, can you relate? That’s what Taman Bhagawan gives you when you visit it. Just come and see for yourself. Also they have a huge-huge parking lot. Super nice and the entrance gate to the garden area is so beautifully designed and built.”

Beautiful beach views, and you can feel the vibes

“Finally visited this venue as well after receiving information that there would be a business gathering event. you could say this place is multifunctional, because it can be used for weddings or birthdays or events on a large scale of people. location in Nusa Dua by the beach. beautiful beach views and you can feel the vibes. when writing this, I suddenly miss Bali, hopefully I can visit the island of the Gods next time soon.

Visited on: Weekday

Wait time: No wait”
