hThe 5 Best Breakfast Spots in Bali That’ll Make Mornings Your Main Event
A friend visiting Bali mentioned that her mother worries about her skipping breakfast. She said it’s because she’s always feeling rushed upon waking up. So during this vacation, she wanted to find beautiful cafes to help ease her into the day.
Last year, she tried winging it too… exploring random roadside stops, quick bites between trips, and even TikTok-famous spots. But more often than not, this only led to bland meals or overpriced plates that didn’t match the hype.
Since I’m a big foodie, she asked me to build her a proper Bali breakfast spot list. Those with actual great food, not just views.
That sent me down a rabbit hole of comparing menus and value. If you’re also a morning meal enthusiast (or want to be), you can check out our shortlist.
1. Sisterfields

Address: Jl. Kayu Cendana No.7, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung
Contact Details: +62 811 3860 507
Business Hours: Daily: 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Opened in 2014, Sisterfields brings Australian cafe culture to Seminyak. They’re known for their reliable all-day menu and specialty coffee using almond, soy, and oat milks.
The standout brunch options include the truffle scrambled eggs and the acai berry bowl. Other notable options are the pancakes, smashed avocado, and banana bread.
For a typical breakfast with 2 mains and 2 drinks, expect to pay around IDR 350,000 to IDR 450,000—generally higher than many local rivals in Seminyak. Still, we think this is reasonable for their big portions and Instagram-worthy atmosphere.
This place is known to prioritize walk-ins too. But if you have over 6 people in your crew, they require a 2-week notice (apparently, even dumplings need a heads-up for a big party).
Just take note of their limited parking. Only motorbikes can park on-site. If you’re driving a car, we recommend parking at the Seminyak Village Mall or Seminyak Square (only a 2-minute walk from the cafe).
But we love that they also conveniently take online ordering via GoFood and GrabFood, which some places lack.
The food is always amazing
“The food is always amazing…been coning here since years ago! Their Ham and Double Cheese Truffle and also the Bacon Benedict are two of the winners here. I always recommend friends to come here to take for breakfast..”
-Alice Wibowo, Google Review

“me and my sis love this place for breakfast! they have the best turkish eggs and you can substitute the meat for another egg no additional cost. the atmosphere is great and the service is immaculate. the waitresses are such sweethearts. especially Tri was super attentive and kind. 10/10 recommend”

2. Two Face

Address: Jl. Munduk Catu No.9, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung
Contact Details: +62 812 3902 8952
Business Hours: Daily: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
As a relatively new cafe established in 2023, Two Face delivers Western-Asian flavors featuring elevated brunch classics. This includes Egg Your Way (eggs as you like them with toasted sourdough) and smashed avo.
There are tons of coffee and smoothies as well, like Wake Up Call banana PB espresso and Island Tango mango turmeric.
A standard breakfast for 2 here typically costs between IDR 300,000 and IDR 400,000. While slightly more affordable than several cafes, this restaurant remains in the elevated price bracket for Canggu.
We also like that they’re known for their stylish, open concept with bright interiors and rooftop setting (definitely great for finding a refreshing place to wake up a bit more!).
Plus, you can do laptop work here with their free Wi-Fi. Keep in mind that this can lag in some areas, so it’s best to ask which spot is best.
In addition, a regular we had a chat with told us that the cafe can be extremely loud and chaotic at times. We recommend bringing noise-canceling earphones if this bothers you.
Beautiful, fresh food with plenty of options
“A popular cafe and rightly so – beautiful fresh food with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Some great juice combos – we were here for breakfast, and we all enjoyed the food, great location right amongst it and staff excellent.”

My go-to breakfast haven on the island
“Two Face has officially secured its spot as my go-to breakfast haven on the island. The food here is outstanding. Their mango smoothie bowl is hands down the best version I’ve found in Bali! What truly elevates the experience, though, is the atmosphere and the incredible service. A massive shoutout to Mita, who is a total ray of sunshine! She always takes the time to check in on us and offer great recommendations with such a genuine, warm attitude. Her hospitality is a huge reason why I’m a regular here. Highly recommended if you want great food served with heart!”

3. Bread Yard

Address: Jl. Kayu Aya No.12, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung
Contact Details: +62 857 3852 9539
Business Hours: Daily: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Bread Yard offers fresh artisan breads, pastries, and hearty brunch like baked egg skillet in a garden-like Seminyak cafe.
For us, this spot shines with its rustic home feel and cozy comfort food. They even provide strong co-working perks like complimentary Wi-Fi on the 2nd level. Plus, many diners praise them for having ample power plugs.
When you get hungry, some crowd favorites to try are Basque cheesecake, almond croissants, and smoked salmon rosti. As for the drinks, we recommend their coffee kombucha (fermented kelp tea) and blue pea tea latte (caffeine-free).
If you’re trying this spot with a friend, expect to spend around IDR 350,000 to IDR 450,000 for mains with drinks and dessert.
Just remember that the higher-end items here, like the steak sandwich (at IDR 200,000), can be more expensive here than in other places.
But while the tables are equipped with buzzers to signal for service, a guest we spoke to mentioned having to press one multiple times without getting any staff response.

4. Blou Café Canggu

Address: Jl. Canggu Padang Linjong, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung
Contact Details:
- +62 361 620 5588
- [email protected]
Business Hours: Daily: 7:30 am to 11:00 pm
Blou Café Canggu serves fusion brunch with customizable breakfasts and fresh juices in a serene poolside setting at Ecozy Dijiwa resort. We’re also fans of their indoor AC and outdoor pool views for a calm escape.
We think you’ll find great food variety here too, as this spot blends Western and Asian flavors (Western-Mediterranean-Indonesian) and barista coffee by Kopi Krintji.
Several bestsellers include the Dirty Burger (loaded, messy-style burger), Big Breaky (a “build your own” platter), and the truffle chicken sandwich. You can pair these with their refreshing watermelon juice or iced latte.
Also, a standard brunch for two, including 2 mains and drinks, costs IDR 250,000 to IDR 350,000. Compared to many breakfast places in the city, this is among the more affordable options.
And in our opinion, their amenities like live music, pool access, full bar, and non-smoking outdoor seating add enough value to make this pricing reasonable.
One minor drawback for first-timers is that this cafe is tucked away inside the resort. In our view, they can be difficult to spot from the main road due to their small signage.
Really nice spot for a relaxed breakfast
“Had a great breakfast at blou. My wife ordered the smoothie bowl and I had the avocado on toast — both were fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The coffee was also really good. Service was friendly and quick, the venue looks great, and everything felt clean and well looked after. Really nice spot for a relaxed breakfast. Would definitely come back.”

“We had a lovely morning at Blou Cafe. The breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and very fresh. The space is stunning — a mix of indoor, outdoor, and poolside seating with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s also a great place to work with strong wifi and comfortable seating. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt very welcoming. Definitely a great spot in Canggu for breakfast or working from a cafe. Highly recommended.”

5. My Happy Place

Address: Jl. Nelayan No.19, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung
Contact Details: +62 878 9882 2934
Business Hours: Daily: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
My Happy Place is a cozy, colorful place in Canggu serving healthy, homemade brunch. We love that they create a homey vibe with games, kids’ coloring, and conversation cards for relaxed stays.
Unlike other cafes that rush diners to leave, we bet many would appreciate their linger-all-day policy. You can enjoy many activities and get comfortable here for a while.
They’re also known for their brunch options, such as Peanut Butter Cup (cacao banana PB yogurt bowl), ham and eggs, and breakfast burrito.
The staff even serves gluten-free and vegan options, like GF pancakes and Tofu Scramble, to accommodate various preferences.
Their pricing goes from IDR 250,000 to IDR 350,000 for 2 with drinks and dessert, which is pretty standard for healthy Canggu cafes. Plus, their fresh homemade portions seem big enough to keep diners happy.
But despite their peaceful interiors, the ground floor can pick up significant noise from the busy Jl. Nelayan traffic. If possible, we suggest sitting at the loft or the top floor for a quieter stay.
Lovely breakfast stop with different hot oatmeal and pancakes
“Lovely breakfast stop with different kind of hot oatmeals, pancakes, but also many other options. Different types of seating incl. Lounging options. Love that! With the games also very kids friendly! Only thing I would add is a little spice in the breakfast burrito or on the side. P.S. good coffee too!”
-Jolien Bangma, Google Review
The breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful
“There’s a cafe/restaurant right by the roadside with a very extensive and excellent menu of food and drinks. I’ve been there twice in total. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Because it’s close to the road, there’s a bit of traffic noise, which is a common problem in Canggu. Overall, I liked it. Thank you.”
