The 5 Best Ceramic Tile Providers in Bali That Blend Island Charm With Global Style

  • Artisanal Craftsmanship and Design Variety: We focused on ceramic tile companies that offer basic flooring and truly artistic and design-forward options. We preferred providers that create tiles in-house and show a deep understanding of ceramic techniques.
  • Price Transparency and Value: We ensured the pricing was clear and reasonable, whether buying a few decorative tiles or tiling an entire villa. We especially looked for providers that offer good value for high-quality craftsmanship, starting from around IDR 150,000 per sqm.
  • Studio Experience and Customization: We preferred tile makers who let you walk in, browse, or even participate in workshops. Some of the best spots allowed us to commission bespoke tiles, perfect if you’re styling a space with personality.
  • Durability and Local Materials: We examined how each brand sources and fires its ceramics, including whether they use local clay, long-lasting glazes, or unique firing methods. This helped us understand the long-term quality of what we were getting.
  • Service and Location Access: We selected showrooms and studios that were easily accessible, with friendly staff who explained things clearly. Some websites lacked full info, but in-person service made up for it.

A great tile can completely change the feel of a room. Plus, it’s easy to clean and super durable. Good thing there are ceramic tile providers in Bali who bring both style and practicality to your space.

From artisanal hand-glazed finishes to sleek modern designs, these providers offer endless options to suit your taste. Whether you’re renovating a villa or simply refreshing a room, you’ll find experts who deliver quality and style.

We’ve rounded up some of the island’s most trusted ceramic tile services so you can skip the search. With custom designs and premium finishes available, there’s always something that matches your vision.

Tegel & Keramik Soeryo is among the few places offering vintage-style cement tiles in ready stock. Located in North Denpasar, it is part of a wider network with branches in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and beyond.

Their design library is fun to work with—over 500 motifs ranging from alphabet sets to hexagonal terrazzo, and reasonably priced.

Plus, the Bali team is known for welcoming custom design consultations. So, as a homeowner, this would be a great service.

You can even browse everything through their heavily updated Instagram, and the team is active in replying to DMs with size guides and layout tips. They even offer delivery and same-day pickup across Bali, which helps when you’re on a tight renovation schedule.

They’re also known for their really good craftsmanship, since each tile is hand-pressed and painted in small batches. Even their Tegel Soeryo x Soeryo Keramik collabs look super high-end but still don’t feel crazy expensive.

But some of their ceramic tiles only come in limited sizes, unlike what bigger suppliers usually have. Honestly, we felt like that could be kind of tricky if you’re trying to cover a big open space.

Pros

  • Ready-stock handmade cement tiles
  • Over 500 design motifs
  • Accepts custom design consultations
  • Active Instagram page with size guides and layout tips
  • Offers same-day pickup and delivery across Bali
  • Offers hand-pressed and painted tiles

Cons

  • Ceramic collections come in limited sizes

The owner is friendly, and the prices are fair

“Tegel Soeryo has really good service, the owner is friendly, the prices are fair. There are in Cibubur, Solo, Bandung too. Basically complete👍👍”

Very strategic location

“Wow, Tegel Soeryo Bali is now open, come and visit soon, there are many very nice motifs 👍😘very strategic location 🥰 …”

Platinum Ceramics has been a major player in Indonesia’s tile industry since the 1970s, and we were genuinely impressed by the size and polish of its Denpasar showroom.

Their range is massive. Everything from polished granite-look tiles to large-format slabs, all arranged for easy viewing if you’re planning a big project like a villa or hotel.

On the tech side, they’re leaps ahead: their factories use digital ceramic printing and continuous milling, which means colour and quality consistency is locked in even across bulk orders.

But just a heads-up: Because of their premium brand positioning, prices can land higher. Starting at around IDR 150,000/sqm for standard collections and rising for specialty lines.

Nonetheless, we really liked their service—it wasn’t just about selling tiles. They gave free virtual design consultations, had visualizer tools on their site, and even a hotline if you needed help along the way.

What sealed the deal for us was how tailored their experience felt, even though they’re massive, their Bali showroom didn’t feel corporate. It’s a brand we’d recommend if you want tech-backed consistency and finishes that elevate a high-end residential space.

Pros

  • Over 50 years in the ceramics industry
  • Offers digital ceramic printing
  • Free online consultations
  • Has visualisation tools
  • Dedicated project support team

Cons

  • Premium-tier pricing

Staff are friendly and informative

“Complete granite and ceramic showroom. There is a mockup of the room too, so you can immediately see how it is applied in the room. All staff are friendly and informative.”

Ceramic samples displayed are complete

“The place is spacious and comfortable, the showroom guards are also friendly. The ceramic samples displayed are also complete 👍 …”

Walking into Philip Lakeman’s Sanur showroom felt more like entering a ceramic gallery than a tile store. Curated lighting and artistic displays immediately draw the eye.

His designs pull from Asian, North African, and Middle Eastern influences, but with a modern painter’s touch that makes them incredibly distinctive.

We love that everything is produced locally and entirely by hand, from sand casting to glazing and freehand painting. But be warned: because of the bespoke nature of each tile, production can take several weeks or longer, so it’s not ideal for tight timelines.

But what stood out for us is how textured and layered these tiles are. The Brutalist series, for instance, features bold with expressive brush strokes that add real depth when viewed up close. The DNA collection had uneven glaze tones that felt warm.

Their service was just as artisanal as the tiles. The staff gave us a full walkthrough and even offered a complimentary sample set to take home.

Additionally, the studio’s past collaborations with resorts such as Metis Seminyak and Andaz Sanur have given us confidence in their ability to handle large-scale, high-end design briefs.

Pros

  • Entirely handmade and hand-painted ceramic tiles
  • Follows a signature sand-casting method
  • Offers custom mural and tile design services
  • Has cultural designs with artistic themes
  • Knowledgeable and collaborative staff

Cons

  • Lead times can stretch

Excellent ceramics for housing and more

“Really excellent ceramics for housing, hospitality or restaurant projects. Beautiful glazes and designs that encompass a wide variety of styles: Mid-century, classic or contemporary. I just bought some nice decorative stuff and when my project materializes, I’ll be straight back for more 😄”

The collection is good, and the colors are eye-catching

“Specialist ceramic tiles that can be customized, the collection is good and the colors are eye-catching, as a local guide, I am very happy to come here and take pictures freely, of course I am enthusiastic about reviewing and sharing this place. The owner and employees understand that local guides can help this place become more famous. Located on Jl Danau Poso in the Sanur area, across from it there is a clean and halal food stall, so you can think about deciding to buy or not while filling your stomach first. 😂”

Founded in 1972 in Buleleng, Ubin Klasik has grown from basic cement squares to a full-blown tile house with over 25 patterns, 33 colours, and 3 showrooms across Bali.

But one thing to note first is that while they do carry ceramics, their main focus is still on cement tiles.

Regardless, prices genuinely surprised us. Starting at just IDR 9,600 per piece, even small homestays or low-budget builds can afford a patterned splash.

We especially like how their tiles looked aged in the right way: rich pigments, soulful textures, and a handmade finish using old-school moulds.

Their classic Peranakan and colonial-style motifs are perfect for people renovating heritage homes or wanting character in cafés, villas, or boutique spaces.

Also, their free design and visualisation service is top-notch. You send them room dimensions and they’ll mock up layouts with your selected colours and patterns.

When we visited their Denpasar showroom, we handled hexagonal cement tiles and a tactile surface that felt solid yet not slick like a factory finish. They’ve found a balance between charm and capacity, supporting over 40,000 tiles/month.

Pros

  • Over 50 years in the business
  • Offers both ready stock and custom colour/pattern options
  • Free design service
  • Budget-friendly
  • Offers colonial-style motifs

Cons

  • Focuses more on cement tiles than ceramic options

Tons of tiles are in stock, and prices are fair

“This beton tile shop is amazing! Hand made in Yogyakarta these tiles are full of life and personality. Vibrant colors, geometrical patterns and classical designs are a builders dream. This shop is a real hidden gem! Tons of tiles are on stock, prices are fair. We come again!”

Fast and professional response

“Just received my tiles. Ordered everything through whatsapp. Fast and professional response, great customer service. Highly recommend. Thank you Ubin Klasik for your great work 😊 …”

5. Kevala Ceramics

Kevala might be famous for their tableware, but their ceramic tiles genuinely surprised us with their refinement and artistry. The colour palettes lean earthy: moss greens, ocean blues, soft greys—all finished with that warm, silky glaze they’re known for.

You can see that they are handmade stoneware, shaped and carved by real artisans. Each one has a subtle texture and irregularities.

Their Ubud showroom had small-batch tiles starting at about IDR 300,000 per square meter, going up to around IDR 500,000 for the more limited finishes. For Bali, that’s pretty much mid-range pricing.

Even more impressive is their Circular Ceramics line. These tiles are made from 75–100% reclaimed materials like recycled clay, glaze residue, and even marble slurry.

Just a heads-up, though: Kevala isn’t a standard tile supplier for flooring or bulk builds, so if you’re after uniform, commercial-grade tiles, this might not fit your project.

But we like that they offer workshops in Sanur, where you can try hand-building yourself.

Pros

  • Hand-glazed ceramic tiles
  • Uses 75–100% recycled materials in the Ceramics line
  • Ideal for designers and boutique builds
  • Offers custom collabs and artist-led collections
  • Conducts studio workshops

Cons

  • Not intended for large-scale flooring or commercial tile supply

Service is great, and lots of love put into each piece

“Mainly for business and love how it’s hand crafted. They have an outlet store with 50% off in the back store. Service is great and lots of love out into each piece.”

Wonderful ceramics

“Wonderful ceramics. Can be made to order wholesale. We were told they don’t do any sales at the factory, so that was a small letdown as we were looking to purchase. You have to go to their shops for that. But they have Kevala Shed nearby where you can buy extras, discontinued or imperfections stock.”
