A friend recently visited the Bali Equestrian Centre and was impressed by the extensive range of services offered. The lessons are well-structured and goal-oriented, making it easy for riders of all levels to enhance their skills.
They especially enjoyed the dressage and show jumping programs, which were both engaging and well-organized. A delightful surprise was the vaulting classes, which blend gymnastics with horseback riding, offering a unique challenge.
Additionally, the tiny tots classes provided an excellent introduction to the sport for young riders, ensuring they had a fun and safe experience.
The center itself is truly a sight to behold. It spans a spacious 2-hectare estate that features three arenas, 40 stables, 12 wash bays, and eight grassy paddocks.
A bonus was the pony track, which enhanced the overall experience. Riders also benefited from high-quality gear, thanks to equipment imported from Australia and the convenience of an on-site tack shop.
However, a few guests mentioned the limited on-site parking, which could make visiting the center a bit of a hassle during busier times.

We had a fantastic time at Kuda P Stables. Our adventure kicked off with a 30-minute introductory ride focused on walking, which was super helpful for everyone in our group. The instructors were friendly and made sure we all felt at ease.
As the day went on, we were lucky enough to join the sunset ride—absolutely stunning! Watching the sun dip below the horizon while riding along the beach was a magical experience.
What really impressed us was rescuing ex-racehorses and working ponies. It felt great to know our ride was supporting a good cause.
Plus, they hire the riders based on your skill level. So, whenever you’re a newbie or an advanced rider wanting to canter, they’ve got you covered.
And let’s not forget the yummy Balinese-style snacks, especially the banana fritters—so good.
On a minor note, we did find that riding paths were a bit limited. The beach is beautiful, but having more variety in scenery would really elevate the experience.

“Had a 10 / 10 experience at this place! I’ve never ridden a horse before, and my guide was really friendly and taught me everything I needed to know and do while riding! My partner, on the other hand, is an experienced horse rider and said that the horse they rode on was well-mannered, and her guide helped us take many photos and videos! The manager at the stable was also very friendly and helpful with all our questions about their stables and the horse veterinarian industry in Bali. Would definitely come back here again!

“Simone was very friendly and welcomed me warmly. She offered coffee and introduced her cats to me. She took all necessary safety precautions, ensuring I wore a fitting helmet and all. Ja jang, the groom who accompanied me always ensured the horse and myself were safe and comfortable. I was also given the opportunity to feed the horse ( Lumpiah, slightly cheeky fellow) to bond with him before and after the ride. Our time at Royal Sport Horse was an absolute blast. The first thing that caught our attention was the jumping progression program for advanced riders. It pushed us to new heights, literally and figuratively.
The instructors were also very fantastic. They even gave us great tips to really improve our skills.
For anyone just getting started, the longer training system is super helpful. It allows beginners to get used to the horse while feeling secure, which makes a big difference.
It was also cool to see private horse owners getting hands-on training with instructors. One of the highlights was definitely the cliff-side riding route—it offered stunning views and made the ride feel like an adventure.
The kids absolutely loved the grooming session. It creates a friendly vibe that everyone enjoys. Their communal BBQ was a nice touch, bringing everyone together for some good and great conversations.
However, we found it a bit challenging to book lessons on weekends.
