Visiting Hydro Medical Bali felt surprisingly easy and professional. I went with a friend who needed a full STD screening, and the staff made sure everything was private and discreet.
They offer a wide range of services. It includes a Comprehensive STD Test package (IDR 1,488,000) for locals and KITAS holders covering HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and Hepatitis B & C.
They also have an Advanced Sexual Health STD Test Package at IDR 1,588,000, which adds genital swabs and a few extra panels for broader screening.
For the most thorough option, the Premium Intimate Care Package at IDR 2,888,000 includes everything from the previous packages plus HPV testing, herpes screening, and cervical cancer checks.
However, I wasn’t so happy with how their higher-tier packages can be expensive. In comparison, non-KITAS holders end up paying about 15-20% higher than KITAS holders.

I became nervous it was sever sunburn / heatstroke and decided I need to call a doctor for some peace of mind. (Approx $60AUD), and after he was treated with anti-nausea medication and a hydration IV almost an hour later the total cost was $3milRp. “I come here in the last five years for STDs test. The staff is always friendly, non-judgemental and very informative. I came here this week for my routine HIV test. They use Alere HIV Combo for the HIV test. This method is pretty accurate and, CMIIW, able to detect the virus in your body within two weeks if after exposure. This is a rapid test and you can expect the result in less than 30 minutes. Apart from STD and STI tests, they also offer vaccination and PrEP. You can also grab free condoms on your way out.”

Best experiences I’ve had at any clinic
“I gashed my right upper thigh about 5 days ago and tried to treat it myself. 5 days later I noticed it started to get infected so I went to this clinic. I was told I needed stitches etc. In short my visit to this place was incredible. Dr Chandra was very professional, polite and has a wealth of knowledge. He explained each step he was going to make which made me understand the process. The nurse there who cleaned my wound was also very nice, friendly and caring, I can’t remember her name but it may have been something like Chitra? Anyways I got seven stitches done in a timely manner, got medication in zip lock bags, labeled and dosage explained. They also directed me to the pharmacy which I found without asking any locals. Overall one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any clinic. Thanks so much team!”
