I’ve been to HBSC twice now for seperate tattoos, one session with Aris and one with Zio and will be going again shortly in June with no plans to go anywhere else for ink besides this shop. “Superb experience all the way around!! For starters, I booked my appointment only three days prior, and they were extremely accommodating! Booking was fast and easy through whats-app. Deposit was only $137 USD. I got a Japanese mask piece done on my leg and they quoted me a great price. When I got to the studio, my artist Amit was very quickly to work taking my design and setting the background I wanted on his iPad. The tattooing process went super smooth. Amit has such a smooth hand, and incredible skill pulling smooth lines. He was very efficient, and only took 2 breaks in 5 hours of tattooing. 10 out of 10, will definitely be back to this shop!!”

“I have had two sessions with these guys. For my first tattoos they did a very good job. I believe the artist I had was quite experienced. All the lads were very friendly. The art looked awesome. I then returned to have some Balinese pattern fill-in around the first piece, with shading, and another third tattoo as well. After a couple weeks the fill in shading was a little uneven and not so dark as I wanted. Not sure why. But the design was great. The third tattoo looks brilliant though. Overall I’d say this is a good place to have a tattoo done. Local artists and owners which was a big motivating factor to go with Balinesia. They offered a touch up on my previous tattoo as well. Reasonably priced and friendly guys.

“I went with my Husband to Bali at the beginning of this year. We both knew we wanted to get tattoos done while we were there, so I began researching shops in the area we would be at the beginning of our trip and the end. After days of research, I kept coming back to Balinesia Tattoo, the reviews were wonderful and they have the reputation of being a very clean and hygienic shop. I messaged them and made an appointment to come in and work with their artist. When we first went in, I noticed right away how clean the shop was. All of their tattoo chairs were covered with Plastic wrapping and were changed after each use. Their ink was clean, good quality, and they followed all protocol for using new needles ect. We drew up our ideas and made our appointment for the day we were leaving. The day we came back for our tattoos, there were lots of people getting ink there. Some people traveled from Australia specifically to be tattoos there. One family was all getting tattoos done that day. Our tattoos were done quickly and beautifully. New needles were used and hey open the packaging right in front of you. The shop even purchased coffee for us and it was a great atmosphere. “So too many days of rain in Bali and my wife managed to talk me into booking my FIRST tattoo! I knew if I was going to do it, that it had to represent things that meant a lot to me so I searched for images that related to each of my children, my wife, my father and my Mum – without them being too literal. I sent these images to Celebrity Ink and right from the start they were helpful and enthusiastic, saying they knew which would be the artist to bring this to life. On the first of the two days this took, I met Eddie and he showed me a design he’d put together in preparation. It was really impressive and captured what I was hoping for immediately but there were a few things I wanted to change. He was 100% willing to get in there and adjust – although he did advise me when he thought I was wrong 😄 The 2 different 6 hour sessions were actually less stressful that I expected and I was nearly falling asleep at times 😄 End of day one and I knew I was going to love it. It’s two weeks since it was done now and it’s healing beautifully. We visited Coomink Tattoo House for a small tattoo project — and we came away impressed by how professional, thoughtful, and respectful the entire experience was. From our first contact, their staff responded promptly and took time to ask detailed questions about what we wanted: design style, placement, size, and how visible we wanted the tattoo to be in daily life. That attentiveness made us feel like they truly cared about making the tattoo right for us, not just drawing something quick.
When we arrived for our session, the studio felt clean and calm. The artist reviewed our design with us one final time, explained how the process would work, and made suggestions (light or shading here, minor detail there) to make sure the final piece looked good both close-up and from a distance. They took care to keep hygiene a priority — new needles, sanitized surfaces, clean gloves — which helped us feel safe and comfortable.
During the session, the artist worked with care and patience. They weren’t rushing us or trying to get as much done in as little time as possible. Instead, each stroke and shading felt deliberate. They checked in with us about comfort and pain, giving us breaks when needed and making sure we were okay. That thoughtful pace made the process less intimidating — and actually quite manageable, even though getting a tattoo can feel nerve-wracking.
When the tattoo was done, the result was everything we’d hoped for: clean lines, smooth shading, and a design that matched exactly what we’d envisioned. The artist also gave us clear aftercare instructions — how to clean and moisturize the skin, what to watch out for, and how to protect the tattoo while it healed. Having that guidance made us feel confident we’d get good healing without complications.
If there’s a small note, it would be nice if they offered a quick printed after-care sheet — rather than just verbal instructions — so we’d have something to refer to as the tattoo healed. But that’s a minor detail compared to how well everything else was handled.
All in all, working with Coomink Tattoo House felt like entering a space where artistry, care, and respect meet. We left with a tattoo we love — and with confidence that we were in good hands.
