We tried their treatments, and they actually worked really well. The dry needling and musculoskeletal acupuncture focused on our muscle knots, which helped us feel a lot less tense.
They also used orthopaedic manual therapy on our joints and soft tissues, and afterward, we felt more aligned and could move better.
Also, post-surgical rehabilitation supports recovery after foot procedures, ensuring you’ll instantly regain strength and flexibility.
We really appreciate that the clinic combines hands-on expertise with advanced equipment. It includes shockwave therapy machines for persistent conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy, as well as TENS units to provide pain relief.

“I took my husband here after I saw all the fantastic reviews. He had an initial consultation, deep tissue massage, dry needling and lots of good advice, tips and exercises to go home with, all within 45 minutes. His back and neck finally had some real and well-needed TLC by Dr Jansen and considering this was half the price of what we would find in London as well, I would definitely 10/10 recommend again. We decided to check out Orthopedic & Brace Center Bali in Keroban after hearing it’s a go-to clinic for foot and ankle care on the island.
The clinic has established a reputation for combining professional expertise with a friendly and approachable atmosphere. It’s really appealing to first-time visitors.
We love their expert team. They offer orthopaedic consultations to accurately diagnose foot and ankle conditions and provide custom-fitted orthopaedic braces to support and stabilize injured feet.
What we especially like is their use of shockwave therapy machines. It’s nice that it targets chronic pain and stubborn conditions, paired with braces designed for long-term support.
The hands-on guidance and detailed follow-up care are top-notch too. They make treatment feel thorough yet personal.
However, the clinic doesn’t provide physiotherapy or podiatry-specific treatments, so patients looking for hands-on foot therapy or rehabilitation may need to look elsewhere.

The clinic provides comprehensive medical consultations to assess and treat foot injuries, as well as offer wound care for cuts, scrapes, and minor foot traumas.
We especially appreciate how they combine attentive care with modern equipment. This includes TENS units for pain management and ultrasound machines for accurately diagnosing soft tissue injuries.
Additionally, we found their staff to be friendly and responsive. It was only our first visit, but they made it easy for us to feel comfortable and well cared for. Many clients can also vouch for that.
However, the clinic lacks podiatry and orthopaedic-specific treatments, meaning patients with chronic foot issues or post-surgery rehabilitation may need other facilities.

“Impeccable service! I went to get the rabies vaccine after a cat scratch. I could make an appointment easily via Watsapp and they were fast to respond even if I contacted them late in the evening. The doctor explained very well everything and everyone was very kind and professional. It was fast and easy. It might be pricier than other clinics (1,800.000 for consultation and first 2 shots) but if you have travel insurance it’s probably no problem. The doctor also prepared all I needed to claim expenses from my insurance. I’m very grateful for the help. I would give more stars if I could.”

“I can’t speak highly enough of Royal Ubud Medical. I badly sprained my ankle while in Ubud, and within 30 minutes of my hotel contacting them, a doctor and nurse arrived at my room. They were so kind, professional, and thorough—explaining everything clearly, wrapping my foot, and providing the necessary medication. They even offered transport assistance to the hospital if I needed it. What really impressed me was the follow-up care. They sent a full report via WhatsApp, and when I needed stronger pain relief, they organised a new prescription and personally delivered it to my hotel—again, all coordinated through WhatsApp. Later, when I realised I needed a fit-to-fly certificate, they arranged that too with no fuss ( all via wattsap) Now back in Australia and healing well, I’m so grateful for their genuine care and incredible service. I went in there had 4 crown veneers on the front top teeth.. Had an in office whitening treatment.. Had 6 silver fillings filled in white & had 2 mouth guards made so I can do at home whitening! “I had a fall in evening. Wanted to have some of the wounds cleaned and checked. Contacted the clinic & was responded to quickly. I made an appointment for the next morning at 9am. Arrived on time and they were waiting for me. Efficient service given by the Dr Risko and Nurse Putri. They looked after me and checked my wounds. English was spoken well & everything explained. Happy with the service and the price was the same as if I had visited a doctor in Australia ($75). I would use the clinic again without hesitation.”
