I know there’s a big chance you landed on this page craving something sweet. Maybe you’re planning a trip and want to know where to find the best baked goods in Bali.
I’ve been there too… wandering around in search of a really good croissant or a comforting slice of cake that actually lives up to the hype.
That’s what pushed me to start building a go-to bakery. Because let’s be honest, not every spot delivers the same level of quality. And when you’re hungry (or caffeine-deprived), trial and error isn’t always fun.
With this list of the best bakeries in Bali, you’ll have an easier time finding places that serve fresh, high-quality treats and a good cup of coffee to go with it.

Located right in the heart of Denpasar, it’s one of those spots people keep coming back to, whether it’s for a quick coffee break or a relaxed afternoon with friends.
The selection alone is enough to keep you browsing for a while, with everything from fresh artisan breads to cakes that are perfect for any occasion.
What’s nice is that it’s not just about pastries. You can also grab breakfast, Western dishes, or even gelato. So it works well if you’re meeting up with people who want different things.
Their coffee is also very affordable, starting at IDR 23,000, which makes it easy to pair with your favorite treat. On top of that, they offer free delivery for a minimum spend or a 15% takeaway discount.
Just a heads up: service can be a bit slow during busy hours, so timing your visit helps.
The portions are large and very, very tasty
“The the portions are large and very, very tasty. As well as western classics they also have selection of traditional Indonesian dishes that are excellent. The food is actually great value for money even if it is slightly more expensive than elsewhere. They also have a nice selection of cakes, sweet and plain bread, if you just fancy having a coffee and snack.”

If you love discovering bakeries with a bit of personality, Baro Bakery is worth checking out.
What started as a small neighborhood bakery has grown into a full pizzeria and restaurant. This gives you plenty of reasons to linger.
They also bring a unique touch with Filipino pastries like pandesal, honoring Chef Emerson’s roots.
Prices are quite reasonable, with bread starting at IDR 40,000 and pastries from IDR 35,000. Honestly, these are affordable enough to indulge without guilt.
My personal favorite has to be the otak-otak danish. It’s a flaky, buttery pastry filled with a subtly spiced fish mixture that’s surprisingly comforting and flavourful.
Beyond baked goods, the bakery also serves full dinners and even cocktails. So it’s a versatile spot, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a longer meal.
One thing to keep in mind is that reservations can be tricky, especially during weekends or dinner hours, so it’s best to plan if you want a guaranteed table.
The pastries were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made
“Amazing dining experience at Baro Bakery. The place has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The pastries were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made, and the food menu was equally impressive. Everything tasted amazing and was well presented. Friendly and attentive chef and staff made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to and highly recommend!

At Baro, the bread tastes dense with purpose
“When you mention the word “bread” in Canggu, Baro is the name that immediately comes to mind.
You can taste the difference between a loaf made to meet a quota and one made with intention. Mass-produced bread often tastes hollow. But at Baro, the bread tastes dense with purpose. It tastes like someone woke up at 4:00 AM not out of obligation, but out of an obsession to get the hydration of the dough exactly right.
Cheryl pointed it out immediately, the ingredients are undeniably premium. There is a quiet luxury to the texture that you just can’t fake.
And a personal rule of mine: if you go to Baro and you don’t get the focaccia, I’m not sure you’ve actually been to Baro. It was easily my favorite purchase of the day.
As for the ambience, I really appreciate how the bakery is layered behind the lush greenery they’ve planted out front. It creates a pocket of freshness and a peaceful filter over the usual hectic energy of Canggu.

If you’re looking for a bakery in Bali that combines quality with a heart for the community, TN Cakes Bali is a standout. All their pastries and cakes are halal certified, and each creation is handcrafted by skilled artisans.
TN Bali specializes in birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and cupcakes. They also cater to celebration cakes, baby showers, and corporate orders. This makes them a go-to for any occasion.
The only downside is that some cakes can be pricey, reflecting the boutique, fully customized nature of their creations.
But with over 10 years of experience and more than 1,000 cakes made, they’ve earned a reputation as one of Bali’s most trusted custom cake designers.
What makes them even more special is that a portion of profits and select orders go to social programs. These organizations support children, orphanages, and local communities in Bali.
The cake itself was super soft and tasty, my partner and our friends loved it
“Tony was unbelievably helpful and accomodating, I placed a very last minute order and we were able to plan/receive the cake the very next day! The communication was super quick and easy, given the short timeframe, tony and their team were able to pull something together quickly whilst maintaining quality. We were able to organise for the cake to be delivered to our villa so I could surprise my partner. The cake itself was super soft and tasty, my partner and our friends loved it – highly highly recommend ☺️

The cakes tasted as amazing as they looked
“We recently celebrated my Partner’s 50th Birthday in Bali and I ordered his cake through TN Cakes Bali. I messaged TN Cakes thru WhatsApp and Tony called me to discuss, this was the start of the exceptional service provided by TN Cakes. Tony made sure everything was covered and double checked everything was correct. The cake was delivered directly to the restaurant and while I’d seen photos…nothing could have prepared us for the WOW moment it created when it was brought to the table. It tasted as amazing as it looked. We had the chocolate cake with biscoff filling everything was edible including the ice which were sugar candy. Thank You Tony and Team …. Highly recommended.

There’s something comforting about a bakery that has earned a place in people’s daily routines, and Bread Basket fits that description perfectly.
They’re a household name for traditional European breads, baked fresh daily from scratch. As part of the TRENTON Group, they’ve spent almost a decade delivering high-quality bread to Bali markets, restaurants, and distributors nationwide.
Bread Basket also goes beyond bread, offering an all-day breakfast menu, pastries, and drinks. Crowd favorites include their buttery croissants, rustic sourdough loaves, and hearty multigrain breads.
Pastries like almond danishes and chocolate-filled croissants are always popular. Plus, their breakfast menu features eggs, sandwiches, and light bites that pair perfectly with coffee. This is a personal favorite.
Honestly, their focus on consistency and quality has made them a go-to for bakers, business owners, and bread lovers across Bali.
The only downside is that their website doesn’t display bread prices, so you’ll need to check in person or call ahead.
Great and welcoming staff
“One of the famous places for breakfast around Canggu. Great & Welcoming staff. Beautiful Ambiance. Good WiFi, Ample of Indoor & Outdoor seating.
Must try is Pie & Burgers – Very well presented, made fresh and tastes simply amazing.
Hazelnut Iced Coffee was great as well. Served in a glass with a copper straw.

5. All Day Bread

Address: Jl. Raya Puputan No.82, Dangin Puri Klod, Kec. Denpasar Tim., Kota Denpasar, 80234
Contact: +62 8132 222 2396

I used to think bakeries were mostly about picking up a loaf or a pastry. But then I came across All Day Bread, and they take a more well-rounded approach.
They cover all the essentials you’d expect… fresh breads, premium cakes, and traditional Indonesian treats.
All Day Bread’s best-selling breads start at just IDR 11,000, which makes them very affordable. Also, their “discount special of the day” is perfect for grabbing pastries at a lower price.
Their team also makes gifting easy with bread hampers starting at IDR 188,000 and cake toppers from IDR 10,000. These let you add a special touch without breaking the bank.
They even have an app for easy browsing and ordering, making it convenient to get your favorites without the wait.
One thing to note is that they don’t offer customized cakes. So if you’re looking for fully personalized creations, you may need to explore other bakeries.
Best service we ever had
“This shop were amazing.
We had 2 cakes created from a picture that we wanted for important celebrations and they absolutely did an amazing job.
Their service would be the best we have ever had.
Communication throughout the whole process was amazing
The cakes taste, quality and flavour were amazing. Guests said it’s the best cake they have ever had.
We had both cakes delivered to different venues and this was a seamless process.
Thank you so much.

It’s a very bright, clean environment, and the staff are very welcoming
“I was looking a gift for my Balinese family for Nyepi and I was recommended a bread and cookie hamper from ‘All Day Bread’ in Denpasar.
I didn’t really know what to expect but when I arrived at the bakery, I was really surprised at the quality of the hampers, the amount of detail and options that I could choose from to create a personalized gift, and not too mention the cakes that they create, they were just stunning.
They are experts at delivering for special occasions and there are many types of cakes available for memorable calendar events from Eid to Valentines Day.
They have a huge variety of breads, both sweet and savory and if you just want to chill out for a tea and cake there is out door seating to just relax and wait for your order to be processed or just take the weight off your feet.
It’s a very bright, clean environment and the staff are very welcoming. The prices are very fair and the quality of the baked breads and cakes are so good and super yummy.
Thanks to everyone for your help in making this possible for me. I’ll be back for more when I return in June.
